Enter a hidden paradise

This is the perfect resort for a romantic getaway surrounded by Krabi’s breathtaking natural beauty.

This one-of-a-kind resort on the Phranang Peninsula to the south of Thailand blends seamlessly with its stunning natural environment. Fringing three national marine park beaches and surrounded by 26 acres of coconut groves and tropical gardens, beautiful Rayavadee has panoramic views of emerald-green waters and dramatic cliffs. Even the beachfront swimming pool is like no other.

Why we love Rayavadee

  • It’s on the edge of Krabi Marine National Park, spread over 26 acres of rainforest where spectacled langur monkeys live

  • The rooms are in individual two-storey pavilions scattered throughout the grounds, so they feel wonderfully private

  • You can dine beside the sea, overlooking the infinity pool or, most memorably, under an ancient limestone cliff

  • There’s a host of activities for two, from speedboat trips to remote islands to hikes along local nature trails

The Grotto is a firm favourite – a unique dining venue underneath an ancient limestone cliff with barbecue nights.

Described as a 'haven for the senses' the Rayavadee Spa offers treatments based on a philosophy of Thai healing traditions. Indulge in a Coconut Bliss massage, Southern Thai herbal scrubs and rehydrating body wraps.

There are two tennis courts and an air-conditioned squash court. For an insight into the local culture, take part in Thai cooking classes, batik printing, flower-garland making or traditional fruit carving. For incredible views, hike the 1,000 steps to the summit of Tiger Cave Temple or learn how to rock climb.

Try sea canoeing, snorkelling and windsurfing from Phranang Beach or take one of the many boat excursions to explore the surrounding islands where you can go swimming and snorkelling.

Rayavadee was built sensitively to its natural surroundings. As well as beach cleaning and mangrove planting, it created the Enlive Foundation working with local communities to protect the environment through managing waste disposal, noise pollution and reef degradation. Locally sourced and organic ingredients are used in the restaurants and organic forest coffee is served.

Rayavadee's Just for Kids programme looks after children from the ages of 4 to 12. Activities include children's tennis, Thai cooking and a discovery walk through the gardens.

Babysitting services can also be arranged.
