Jetwing Lighthouse

Old World elegance and architecture

A distinctively designed eco-friendly hotel offering guests a glorious waterfront setting and welcoming service.

This charming and traditionally styled hotel is a great choice for those wanting to indulge in some local culture as the historic sights of the UNESCO-listed city of Galle are just a short distance away. The unique combination of Moorish, Oriental and Dutch-influenced architecture and the striking setting on a rocky headland overlooking the ocean is sure to impress you as soon as you arrive. The hotel also places great importance on its green initiatives, with a strong focus on both environmental and community activities. Manicured gardens play host to facilities including a spa, swimming pools and several restaurants and bars.

There are three restaurants, a poolside pizzeria and two very different bars, complemented by imaginative signature dining experiences.

Cardamon Café
Head to the hotel’s 24-hour restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the cool dining room or out on the terrace. Enjoy a wide variety of buffet dishes at breakfast and set menus or buffets featuring international and Sri Lankan dishes at lunch and dinner.

The Cinnamon Room
The hotel’s evening-only fine-dining venue has a reputation as one of the best seafood restaurants in Galle. Enjoy attentive service, delicious cuisine and a fantastic setting overlooking the ocean.

At the à la carte restaurant Nihal’s, open for lunch and dinner, you can enjoy global cuisine with a local twist. For a special occasion, try the seven-course dinner tasting menu.

Lorenzo’s Pizza Bar
This casual poolside eatery serves not just pizza, but also a wide range of light bites and drinks.

The Verandah
Open from early until late, this inviting open-air spot is the place to come for coffee, tea or a cocktail and snack overlooking the sea.

Coats of Arms Bar
The charming main bar, where the walls are adorned with antique British and Sri Lanka flags, is the spot to socialise until late over a cocktail and a game of pool.

We love the resort’s private dining options which include the ‘Among the Rocks' barbecue for two.
