Bring the family to the heart of Forte Village.
Part of the magnificent Forte Village and with access to seemingly endless facilities, the family-friendly bungalows of Bouganville reflect the local island style. Set a little back from the beach within bougainvillaea-filled gardens, Bouganville is within easy reach of the piazza where many of the resort’s pools, shops, and restaurants are found and most of the evening entertainment takes place.
Why we love Bouganville, Forte Village
-
At the centre of the vast Forte Village with easy access to the incredibly wide-ranging facilities
-
Breakfast is served at the Oasis Terrace, a lovely place to start a sunny day on Sardinia
-
You’re only a hop, skip, and jump away from the Acquapark – the resort’s waterpark - and the enormous spa
-
The Children's Wonderland is impressive, with pools, a theatre, a Barbie™-themed area, and a vegetable garden – all before they find the waterpark and the go-karting track
Rooms
The accommodation here reflects the hotel’s Sardinian style in both the ground floor Deluxe Bungalows and the spacious Deluxe Family Bungalows - there are 122 in total. The latter have a separate living area with a double sofa bed, ideal for children under 13 years old. Other accommodation options are available on request.

Breakfast is served at Oasis Terrace, or, for an extra charge, at the Bellavista and Cavalieri Restaurants. Dinner is at La Pineta or Forte Grill, but guests can choose Ristorante Sardo or Ristorante Brasiliano at no extra charge. The other restaurants require reservations and are at a supplement.
Oasis Terrace
Start your day with breakfast on the terrace of Oasis.
Bellavista
With a focus on local produce, this seasonal restaurant overlooks the sea.
Cavalieri
Enjoy the vast buffets and live cooking stations at Cavalieri with plenty of Italian and Sardinian dishes on the menu.
Ristorante Sardo
Serving regional dishes from the heart of Sardinia.
Ristorante Brasiliano
Savour the flavours of South America where meats are cooked over a charcoal grill spit.
We love the concept at Bellavista where the focus is on locally sourced produce with the aim of 'zero kilometre' ingredients.

I visited Forte Village Resort as part of a business group. Overall, everything was fine but it was honestly overpriced though I won’t complain because I had a great time. I was supposed to leave the resort later in the day as I had a late flight so I politely asked the reception if it would be possible to check out a little later, as I had to wait the entire day to leave with the rest of the group. I was clearly refused with the excuse that they were fully booked and that nobody could stay even 30 minutes longer. That morning, I got sick, but still left the room as instructed at 11:00, waiting outside until 4:00 PM for my transfer to the airport while feeling really unwell. When I met the rest of the group, I discovered that every single person had been granted a late check-out time as requested—everyone except me! I felt sick, sad, disappointed and humiliated in front of the whole group as no one could understand why the hotel forced me out while allowing everyone else to stay. My previously good experience at the resort was completely ruined. I spent the rest of the day feeling terrible, especially as I had to take several connecting flights just to get home. My question is: why don’t you apply the same rules to the entire group, instead of treating me like this - kicking me out like I was disposable while showing zero regard for my well-being? This terrible experience overshadowed my entire stay and I will probably never return. There is simply no excuse for what happened.

we can tell you that we really liked the complex. There really is a large selection of options for the whole family. The beach is spacious and you can always find a lounger with an umbrella. The bungalow was also renovated and suited us very well. The cleanliness was very good. Unfortunately, there was a lack of F&B. The half board offering was very poor and, in our opinion, at 2-3* level!☹️ There were hardly any things left on the buffet in the morning from around 9:15 a.m. It was refilled and refilled very slowly, if at all. We also complained because there wasn't even any bread left. It was slightly improved for 1 day, but then unfortunately it was the same thing again. There is only 1 chef who cuts every slice of cheese, salami, etc. for 100 guests. Very poorly coordinated! The evening meal is unfortunately not made with much love, but is more of a mass-processing affair. Unusual for Italy, a lot of it is overcooked and tasteless. The 2 included restaurants are usually overcrowded and otherwise completely overwhelmed and the food is at canteen level.

first all shout out to the amazing staff at forte village - Valentina Dessi for guest relations - Sofia at the amazing wine bar - manuela at the spa and marco at the san domenico all of these guys are stand out in their roles at forte but all the staff are wonderful, some of the best staff anywhere in the world that we have travelled to - We had so much fun and totally relaxed at forte. The first step to relaxing is that your children are safe and having fun. All kids up to 18 years have an amazing time at Forte Village which allows parents to relax. the thalassotherapy spa is voted the best in the world - easy to see why when you visit. The treatments on offer are also second to none - stayed in Castillo gardens in a lovely room with open terrace - I think the negative reviews on here are from people who haven’t been before. It takes time to find all the amazing things the resort has to offer. Buffet is buffet and I am not a buffet person so paid the extra for their restaurants where they have excellent chefs, several who have attained Michelin stars. For example, Rocco Ianone is recognised as one of the best chefs in Italy. Together with his assistant, Genaro, they will prepare some of the best Italian food you have ever tasted. The one night we ate buffet was at Bella vista on the beach. It was good quality for buffet with some dishes made fresh. The night life is also great fun for all the family - amazing shows in the square, well produced and performed - Dancing with the stars where guests participate with professional dancers is unbelievable entertainment. There are a lot of negative reviews here and yes it is top dollar but for us worth every penny. In our opinion it is better that Sani and Ikos. the beach food service was also great and it was endless fun for our 13 year old who loved it too - the youth club has so much for them to do - they even have their own spa night - and everyone in our group made friends for life at the forte village !! The Casella family, Ireland
